If your skin is in contact with direct sunlight for 15 minutes or more, then your body will produce vitamin D. Going outside is important for the body and it is what helps keep us healthy. You must make the most of the sun when it is out. 

Another way you can make sure you get your daily intake of vitamin D is by taking Vitamin D tablets. It is recommended that you only do this if your doctor has suggested. The last thing you need is having too much Vitamin D. This can harm your health if you have too much.
