Healthy Living for ME invites Mainers to participate in upcoming leader trainings

This fall, Healthy Living for ME is offering trainings for future workshop leaders. Any interested Mainer is welcome to join the trainings. Community organizations are also welcome to have their staff or volunteers participate in the trainings.  

“We are excited to be able to offer trainings to Mainers who would like to become workshop leaders and help others improve their health and wellness. This is a great way for people interested in empowering and supporting others to do so,” said Jen Paquet, training manager of Healthy Living for ME. “I encourage anyone who is interested to reach out and learn more about what this opportunity entails.”

Former No. 4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell a healthy scratch for Raiders’ Week 1 matchup with Ravens

The Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up for their “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, but they will be without their former No. 4 overall pick. When the Raiders released their inactives for Week 1, included was defensive end Clelin Ferrell, who according to multiple reports, is a healthy scratch.

Ferrell had been listed on the injury report all week with a back injury, but was a full participant in practice in each session and was not given a game designation. The No. 4 overall pick out of Clemson has not lived up to expectations. He recorded 38 combined tackles and 4.5 sacks in 15 games in his rookie season, and then 27 combined tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in 2020. He missed five games due to COVID-19 and a shoulder injury, however.
